    DOB: 07/13/2020

Lilah was the pick puppy out of my most recent litter. She hit the ground running for her debut at the NCDC/GGDC Specialty Show weekend. On Saturday, March 20, she went WB/BOW/Best Bred-By Exhibitor in Show under Breeder-Judge Janice Corey-Finney and WB/BOW under Esteemed Hound Breeder/2021 Westminster KC Best in Show Judge Patricia Trotter (pictured). Both wins were 5 point majors from the Bred-By Exhibitor class. She was only shown in sweepstakes the following day (3/21), where she went Best in Overall Sweepstakes under judge Camille Bakker.

Her next outing was the Dachshund Club of America National Specialty and Host Shows in early May 2021. At just 9 months old, she continued her win streak by going Winners Bitch and Best of Winners at the Metropolitan Washington DC Host Show under respected breeder judge Richard Powell for her third consecutive 5 point major win. All of her wins were exclusively from the Bred By Exhibitor class, among incredibly tough competition!

Since earning her championship, she has been shown selectively to her Grand Championship, competing only at specialties or specialty weekends and is now field pointed. She finished her Grand Championship in the BEST way, by winning her first Best in Specialty Show under longtime breeder-judge Mr. Eric Henningsen. She has won multiple other specialty and all breed Best of Varieties in her limited outings. As of February 2023, she is now a Bronze Grand Champion in VERY limited showing since her human sister was born!
